Atlimbo (Tina-Marie Stanton) is a woman of constant change, and it’s one of her favorite qualities.

I am 27 and I adore Europe, coffee, soft flannel, cold autumns, hot summers, political theory, and socialists. I love how amazing it feels to write; to dream up characters and let them speak to you.

I’m a proud graduate of American University (Poli Sci & Lit, December 2005) and was honored in 2004 to spend 8 months doing research abroad in Rome and Havana. I call Boston my new city home after nine years in Washington, DC.

To say my interests are varied is an understatement. I’m obsessed with energy and health technology, gender and sexuality sociology, behavioral psychology and social media. I’m an advocate for sexual education, mental health awareness, reproductive rights & saving our planet through industry. I love what the right words can do, which might explain how life has always pointed me toward politics, communications, blogging, and fiction.

I’m a Democratic campaigner and activist, a proud member of the Greater Boston chapter of the Young Democrats of Massachusetts, a world traveler, fiercely pro-choice, a fan of highway driving, a movie dork, an insatiable reader, and completely in love with all genres of music, especially of the live sort. Before settling in Dorchester, MA, I spent nearly ten years in our nation’s Capitol gaining political and non-profit campaign experience at every level – from event planning and communications to campaign management and staffing. Eventually, by a twist of fate, I stumbled into environmentalism and have made that profession of choice since, trying to save the planet so that all those women have clean air to breath.
